Giveaway: Composting books

Alrighty - I promised this a while back, and I'm making good on my promise. It's time for a giveaway! But wait, there's more! Two giveaways! Two prizes to win!

TMR compost giveaway

Comment below for a chance to win one of these fabulous prizes. Tell me about your experience composting, or maybe about gardening, or about the garden you'd like to have, or just tell me how fabulous this blog is.

For a second chance to win, become a follower, then comment here that you've done so.

The deadline for commenting is midnight April 2 (no chance of April foolin' with the prizes that way!). The first person I draw on April 3 will get to choose between the books, and the second person will receive the remaining book.

About these books: These are used books I picked up at Powells with my own money.

Note: relatives of the Trashmaster are not eligible for prizes. However, they are eligible to receive the benefits from the Trashmaster compost pile

  1. I haven't actually done a lot in the way of composting, but my ex does (and she's who I'd give the books to). Largely, she moves organic household and yard waste to a large covered pile in the garden area. But one day, when I have my own place again ... I would love to have a vegetable garden, and I'd want to make it organic. I'd have indoor space for starters, and I'd have an herb garden, too. I'd especially grow catgrass in a protected area so my feline babies would have their own stash. It would *have* to be outdoors, because my cats are death to any green thing within reach of their claws.

  2. You scared me for a sec--I thought you meant, you know, like composting *books* or something. They're *books*, for ghu's sake, you can't compost them!

  3. I'd love to have a garden but something always comes up. Hopefully next year as this year I'm planning a wedding and I'll be too busy to plan, plot, organize, etc. I'm getting more and more discouraged with our food system and REALLY want to start gardening (with what little space we have) but I think I keep putting it off in part because I'm afraid I'll spend the money on tools, supplies, etc. and fail miserably. Fingers crossed!

  6. I've been gardening and composting for a long time and have probably tried every method of composting there is. That said, we really haven't figured out the best way to do it! I'm still learning, which is why I'd love to win one of your books.

  8. Started a compost box last year and it's been a learning experience. Too much dry not enough wet. Hope to improve it this year so these books would be a great help. :)
